We are not contesting any election results here at 24Hour Magazine but we too believe in the power of social media. Ok, our belief in social media isn’t exactly revolutionary (pun intended) but we would like to share with you how 24H Magazine we be using it.
24H on Twitter - We have a twitter site (@24hourmagazine) where we currently provide updates and teasers about the planning process. Then on the 24H DAY, the account will be set up to retweet (retwit? retweat?) all of our contributors so you can follow the whole team’s progress through out the day.
24H on Facebook - We have a group on Facebook and we have set up an online event so you have a reminder to check in with us during the day for all the updates and live video. Those that join the group will also receive an update when the printed version is available for sale.
24H on Flickr - In our Flickr group, we will provide behind the scenes pictures, samples from the photo shoots, and a chance for you to submit photos of your 24 hour day (some might even make it in the magazine!).
24H on Vimeo - Through out the 24H DAY, as well as afterwards, we will be posting small videos on Vimeo of all the fun, craziness, and hardwork, along with some interviews. (For those that don’t know Vimeo, think YouTube with good quality)
This Blog - and of course, here at 24HourMagazine.com, we will continue to update the blog before during and after the event. During the event, you will see the website change from this basic look to one that reflects the magazine design. We will also be posting background stories, sneak peaks at the evolution of the cover. Follow the RSS Feed for all updates.
Start following us now for all the fun and excitement.
